Is It Rude To Assign Clean Up After A Family Party

Logistics: Cleaning Up After Reception

Who took dwelling house all of your stuff after the reception? You card box, gifts, centerpieces, decorations, etc.

I'g curious, because we need to accept everything out of our reception venue past 12:30am (part of our contract with them and so that the venue has fourth dimension to do their regular post-outcome cleaning earlier the side by side bride comes in the following morning to gear up for her wedding), and the staff at our reception venue doesn't pick upward stuff that they don't provide. And then since we are providing our own centerpieces (nothing real intricate), we will demand to be the ones to clean them upward. Nosotros are planning on doing a sparkler exit at 11:30. Do we ask our wedding party and families to help with the make clean upward (and is it rude to ask if they could assist out with this)? Do we come back after nosotros leave to aid make clean up (which, I guess seems kind of ridiculous)?

    Same situation here, we have to accept everything off the roof past 10pm, simply the venue has a storage room we can put everything into until Sun morning. We are spending the night at the venue and will accept information technology with us when nosotros leave in our truck. I have labeled totes for everything so information technology will be pretty like shooting fish in a barrel. The rentals will remain in the storage area for the outcome rental company to pick upward Monday morning time and all the tables and chairs belong to the venue. My Medico will oversee the ready-up and tear down and I will hire a couple of people to do the bodily fix and teardown of everything.

    Near of the items are rentals then the vendors will take care of those. For the residue, I am sending home the gifts/cards with my son and blood brother. I volition allow guests to take the centerpiece florals if they desire. The items I bring for the centerpieces such as lanterns and candles that I want to continue or sell I am asking my WP's squad to box up and someone on my FH's side will take the boxes dwelling for the states. That'southward the program anyway.

    Nosotros have to accept everything out of venue as well. I plan to put my brothers in charge of this with the help of numerous family members. I come from a family that pitches in to help each other all the time. We clean up the house of political party (Thanksgiving, Christmas etc) earlier we get out. Not a big bargain, A bunch of votives and candy buffet and few odds and ends. Table runners and a sign that says Mr and Mrs.

    My DoC took all of our gifts/cards & major decorations like the seating chart to our hotel suite for us. The venue took intendance of the rest-repackaged our leftover cookies, alcohol, etc and our table decorations and kept them until Mon for us. I wasn't concerned virtually the paper lanterns. All in all we only lost 1 Tupperware container (MIL's...she was quite fastened to information technology) and gained a cooler.

    Our decorator is picking up all of the decorations, my parents will take all of the gifts, carte du jour box, guest book, etc with them as we are opening the gifts at their house the next 24-hour interval. I have a large family and someone will help out to cart it all out to my dad's truck.

    Our caterer is doing a lot of his stuff. i may pay my Doc extra to stick effectually and take downward the extra decor ( i want to hang up lights and exercise a photograph booth). I am not sure what to practise with taking things dwelling house yet, i may pay to keep things at that place overnight if i still tin.

    I really don't want anyone in my family unit to have to worry about cleaning upwardly subsequently

    My hymeneals ceremony and reception is in a hotel, so I know that my mother specifically is going to be taking the card box and guestbook not very long after the reception starts to put into our room because she just sees the nightmare of some ahole coming in and walking off with information technology since the only logical place to put information technology isn't very far from the front doors. All other decorations the venue collects for usa, and we will probably just take them abode with us on Saturday morn since we are staying the nighttime in the hotel. Caterer/hotel cleans up the dishes, food, etc.

    Same thing, our reception volition finish at approx. 9pm since we have to have everything out past 10pm and be off the premises. My BMs have agreed to help brand sure everything gets taken care of. I've thought of "hiring" a friend or two to come up to the reception to help clean up. Nosotros're still not 100% sure just we know it'll be taken care of, fifty-fifty if I take to do information technology myself.

    I have a solar day of staff. They will decorate my venue, serve the food and clean up afterwards. If you lot just need someone to pack things up and clean upwards after I advise hiring someone to do it instead of asking your wedding political party or guest to assistance. How about calling one of those maid services that's like $150 for iii hours.

    Fh & I volition leave the reception correct when it ends, after the sparklers, in a chauffeured car. his mom & dad & the gm & all-time homo will load up fmil's van with our centerpieces, card box, small décor items, and extra alcohol/sweets and have it to my place, where ane of the gm will be house sitting that week anyhow.
